The 2010 Census is a count of everyone residing in the United States. It is coming soon so spread the word. Who is counted? All children, babies, and adults who live in a household. All U.S. residents must be counted. This is a requirement of the U.S. Constitution. A questionnaire will be mailed or delivered to each household in February and March. It is the shortest questionnaire in history and takes about 10 minutes to complete. The official Census Day is April 1st. The census information is confidential and is not shared with government agencies, the IRS, any office of immigration, or the FBI. Every person in every home should be counted so complete your questionnaire. Census workers will visit households that do not return questionnaires during May, June, and July.
