Taylors Creek - GOTTA KEEP READING!
Students at TCE earned 1550 points. The top reader for the Children's Book Week was Nathan Thomas who made 27.6 points in four days. That is alot of reading. Nathan said he likes to read Harry Potter. Nathan is a fifth grader and received a TCE Gotta Keep Reading t-shirt. Congratulations to Nathan and all all the boys and girls!
Principal On The Roof - Students Make 1550 AR Points!
I am so proud of the Taylors Creek students. They read their principal to the roof. They exceeded the goal of making 1000 AR points this week and earned 1550 AR points. WOW! We had all kinds of obstacles this week to stop our students from the meeting the reading goal. The internet was down for two days and they could not even take tests until yesterday afternoon. That's just like a Taylors Creek student though. There is no mountain high enough and no problem big enough to get us down. We will never give up and never give in. WE'RE GONNA WIN!! Congratulations students! You're the best so let's have a Reading Rally today at 1:15 p.m. SEE YOU THERE!!

It's 911!
That's right! Students have reached 911 AR points as of today. They have one more day to reach 1000 AR Points! I think we have an emergency! Okay boys and girls, read me to the roof. Get to the 1000 Point Mark and I'll see you there - Me Reading On the Roof. READ, READ, READ! Gotta Keep Reading!!

Have You Heard The News?
Dr.Rodriguez and Dr. Moody will be on top of the roof at TCE on Friday at 1:15 p.m. if the students earn 1000 AR points by Thursday. Can the students read that many books in only four days? Well we will see. If the whole school gets to 1000 AR points by Thursday, the principal, Dr. Rodriguez, and the assistant principal, Dr. Moody will climb to the top of the roof. The entire school of approximately 700 students will bring out their favorite book for a Reading Rally, and we will enjoy singing - "Gotta Keep Reading!" I can't wait to see those points.
